Build by Numbers™

Build by Numbers™ is a unique system of assembling trade show displays created by ExpoDisplays to make setting up a display fast and foolproof. The heart of the system mimics “paint by numbers,” a system of teaching painting invented and popularized in the 1950s. Build by Numbers is proprietary to ExpoDisplays’ line of portable/modular trade show products.

How does it work?

At the point where one part connects to another part is a number label. To assemble the product you simply match numbers and connect in sequence. To start, simply find the two parts labeled with a “1” and connect them. Then connect 2 to 2, 3 to 3, and 4 to 4 until done.

Why are there other labels on my product?

Those are parts and system labels are innovative features of the Build By Numbers system. The part label has a number to make it easy for you to order a replacement if the part gets damaged. System labels indicate what component each part is used to make. System labels are also color-coded for exhibits that contain multiple components. Parts connect to similarly colored parts. For example; Blue parts are used with other blue parts, but are never used with red.

Do I need assembly instructions?

Although the Build By Number system does not require instructions, we include them. They are helpful to know what the display will/should look like when completed and also useful for replacement of graphics.
