We are looking for a highly creative designer with at least 3 years of professional design experience who is looking to flex your creative muscles. You need to be proficient with 3D CAD and photorealistic rendering programs and ideally have mad sketching skills Being able to comfortably interact with clients and sketching out concepts on the fly in meetings is a bonus. ExpoDisplays and Method-1 Interiors in Birmingham, AL is growing and looking for an Exhibit Designer to join our energetic and fun team in our Birmingham studio. Think Total. Creative. Freedom. What we’re looking for is a highly creative Industrial or Interior Designer or Architect with a great portfolio who is interested in designing spaces and environments. You don’t have to have a lot of experience but you do need to be able to juggle multiple projects at once, work quickly without a lot of hand-holding, and have an endless source of creative energy since we do hundreds of projects each year.

Our Production Designers must be able to create accurate shop plans and assembly instructions to help the Production Department perform at a top rate of efficiency and speed. This position is also responsible for improving product quality while decreasing costs and production times by finding better materials and production methods. Best part is, almost 100% of what we do is custom so you’re not going to get bored of doing the same thing over and over! The environmental graphics installer will work with our in-house graphics design team to help produce and install custom graphics using a variety of materials and large format graphics printing and finishing equipment. This is not a graphic design position, but creative ability and experience working in a sign shop and/or with large format graphics are preferred. Travel will be required occasionally as we are regularly doing projects all over the Southeast and beyond. Typically, travel is no more than 1 or 2 nights away at a time.

ExpoDisplays and Method-1 Interiors is looking for a skilled Painter to join our energetic team. We create some of the most innovative and award-winning trade show exhibits and commercial interiors in the industry. Many of the things we build require finishing with various tinted industrial and automotive lacquer type finishes as well as clear finishes on stained woodwork. Experience mixing, handling, and applying automotive, industrial, and wood finishes to wood, metal, and plastic substrates is desired. Our newest team member will support the Graphics Production department in fabricating and installing graphics for various clients.  Experience in printing, large format graphics, packaging, and installation are required.  You must have the ability to accurately measure and trim to precise dimensions, have basic computer skills, and have a minimum of one year of experience installing/applying graphics, vinyl, lettering, logos, etc.  This job requires that you be physically able to maneuver large sheets of material and have a keen eye for detail.  

We are in search of an installer to join our team. Responsibilities include; delivery and installation of cabinets, countertops, displays, fixtures, graphics, A/V equipment, and other custom-built elements.  Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly work site and vehicle. Be constantly aware of milestones and project due dates. Travel to and from installation sites.  Work on a day-to-day basis with clients regarding product installation. Perform all duties in a manner consistent with the spirit of teamwork and delivering top-quality products.

The trade show industry took a big hit do to COVID, but things are starting to look great for this Fall. We are working on rebuilding our Exhibit Management department and are looking for one or more Trade Show Coordinators to join our team. Our Trade Show Coordinators act as the liaison between our customers, our operations team and the trade shows themselves. Responsibilities include assessing client needs and coordinating with the show venues and other partners to make sure the clients’ shows go off without a hitch. This includes filling out and submitting show forms, coordinating setup plans with our Design Department, arranging shipping to and from the show, and collecting and managing client and show data in our systems.  

We are looking for skilled craftsmen with experience in cabinet making, assembly, and trim carpentry. Tools frequently used include tape measure, compound miter saw, table saw, jigsaws, power drills, sanders, routers, and more.  Experience working with plastic laminates and solid surface materials is a big plus. Our work is 100% custom so every day is something new and different. We guarantee 40 hours per week and offer full benefits that include paid time off, health insurance, 401k, and more. You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
