Birmingham, AL – ExpoDisplays, a national designer and manufacturer of trade show exhibits, custom interior environments and graphics, announces Jay Burkette’s election to the Exhibit Designers & Producers Association (EDPA) board. 

Burkette has been in the trade show industry for over 23 years.  He began his career as a Designer with ExpoSystems, and is now Director of Dealer Development for ExpoDisplays.  Burkette recruits new distributors throughout the country to sell ExpoDisplays’ extensive product lines.  He also manages the Dealer Support Department, conducts training sessions for distributors, and is involved in product development. 

EDPA is an internationally recognized national trade association that is engaged in the design, manufacture, transport, installation and service of displays and exhibits primarily for the exhibition and event industry.  Its purpose is to provide education, leadership and networking for the advancement of its members and the exhibition industry.

Burkette was installed to begin his two-year term November 27th at EDPA’s Board of Director’s meeting.  As a board member, Burkette will have firsthand knowledge of developing industry and association issues, and a voice in making decisions about them.
