Cabinetry/Carpentry
Carpenters... are you tired of building the same old square cabinets? Then give us a call. We design and build unique exhibits and displays using all types of materials. Every job is different. Pay is based on experience
Required Qualifications:
•Cabinetry/Carpentry experience
•Clean driving record
•Ability to travel to install permanent exhibits
Preferred Qualifications:
•Cabinet building experience
•Laminating experience
•CNC experience
•Finishing experience
Exhibit Project Manager
ExpoDisplays may have future openings for an Exhibit Project Manager. An Exhibit Project Manager is responsible for taking an idea from our Design Department and bringing it to life. They will hold meetings with our Sales, Design and Carpentry personnel to discuss the production of each design to ensure proper quality. They will be responsible for ordering any specialized materials for each specific job, as well as creating all of the necessary plans for our carpenters to properly build the entire design. Each detailer is responsible for many different projects at one time.
Required qualifications:
• CAD Program experience
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects at once
• Ability to ask meaningful questions in meetings about the construction of specific projects
• Degree in a design or design related field from an accredited university
• Ability to complete projects by a strict timeline
• Be in direct contact with clients about the production of their product via
e-mail and telephone
Preferred Skills:
• High attention to detail
• Form-Z Cad experience
• Experience in the exhibit industry
• Experience creating detailed shop plans
• Carpentry experience a plus
Exhibit Designer
ExpoDisplays may have future openings for an Exhibit Designer. The ideal candidate should be a talented, high energy and passionate designer who can manage, conceptualize and create exhibit and display designs.
Job Requirements:
• 3D Visualization (Form Z preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture and/or Industrial Design
• Project Management Experience
• Ability to Handle Multiple Products at Once
• Positive Attitude & Deadline Oriented
• Effective Presentation & People Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2 – 3 Years in a Design Office
• Freelance Experience
Graphics Production
ExpoDisplays may have future openings for detailed-oriented individuals to help produce high quality, large format graphics and signs. These are high end products that require precise manufacturing procedures to produce correctly. Graphics are designed, printed, laminated and mounted to customer standards.
Required Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work well with hands to finish products to exact measurements
• Organized with the ability to meet deadlines
• Positive attitude
• Desire to produce quality products
Preferred qualifications
• Experience in color matching (proof to finished product)
• Experience cutting and finishing high quality products
• MAC experience, preferably in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience working with large format printers (HP5000 a plus) and large laminating machines
Sales
ExpoDisplays may have future openings in the Factory Direct Sales Office. ExpoDisplays has distributors throughout the country who sell our products. However, there are also areas assigned for just factory direct sales. These areas are serviced by our in-house sales team. Products and services ExpoDisplays sells include: portable and custom trade show exhibits, mall kiosks, custom interior designs, graphics and more.
IT
ExpoDisplays may have openings available in the future for our Information Technology department. Responsibilities for this department include:
• Update and maintain all computers and computer systems
• Provide security and support for all computer systems
• Work on PCs and MACs
• Oversee and maintain the company-wide phone system
Office/Administrative
ExpoDisplays may have future openings in the office/administrative category including: receptionist, administrative assistants, customer service, etc.
Responsibilities for these positions may include, but are not limited to:
• Answering phones
• Data entry
• Filing
• Composing letters and e-mails, sending faxes and other administrative correspondence
• Order entry and processing
Preferred Skills:
• Computer literate
• Good communications skills
• Quick learner who works well with deadlines
Exhibit Specialist
ExpoDisplays may have future openings for an Exhibit Specialist. Exhibit Specialists are part of our Exhibit Management department, which oversees the shipment, storage, repair and installation of exhibits that are kept in our warehouse. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
• Oversee set-up/dismantle of exhibits
• Prepping exhibits for shows
• Shipping/Receiving
• Extensive travel to trade shows is required with this position.
This position can be based out of the Birmingham or Huntsville office.
Inventory/Service Tech
ExpoDisplays may have future, full-time openings for Exhibit Management Service Techs. The Exhibit Management Department as a whole oversees the shipment, storage, repair and installation of exhibits that are kept in our warehouse. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
•Maintain inventory of custom trade show exhibits
•Prepare exhibits for trade shows
•Set up displays/exhibits for inspection
•Keep all exhibit inventory organized
•Assess exhibits after a show for damages; make repairs and report missing items
•Forklift operation (especially in small areas)
•Inventory-related computer work
Job Requirements include:
•Detail oriented
•Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
•Forklift operation
•Mechanically inclined
•Basic computer skills
•Ability to work with minimum supervision
•Comfortable working under deadlines, and with fast turnaround times
Preferred Qualifications include:
•Trade show exhibit and preparation knowledge
Warehouse/Shipping
ExpoDisplays may, in the future, have entry-level to experienced openings in the Warehouse and Shipping/Receiving department. These positions could include, but are not limited to:
• Stock and organize materials
• Shippingand Receiving orders
• Warehouse upkeep
• Make deliveries
• Assist carpenters
