Recycling of printer cartridges
All used printer cartridges are donated to a local recycling center at the AEC. They have a vendor that gives rebates back for those cartridges. All the rebate money is donated back into the recycling program.

Materials
ExpoDisplays is currently using PureBond Formaldehyde Free Hardwood Plywood. These panels have met the acceptance criteria for compliance with ANSI/HPVA H-1-2004 Section 3.12 Formaldehyde Emission Requirements for industrial panels. These panels are urea formaldehyde free as defined by the USGBC LEED Green building rating system. The core bonding process and veneer lay-on lamination process added no urea-formaldehyde resin to the finished product. Product is compliant with USGBC LEED NC 2.2 EQ 4.4 for no-added-urea-formaldehyde (NAUF) resins.

Machinery
Our CNC machine reduces waste by nesting shapes and letters. It also reduces manpower and energy by cutting out several jobs in one run.

Water-based inks
ExpoDisplays’ Graphics Department printer meets the ENERGY STAR® program criteria. We use water-based inks which are one of the most environmentally friendly options. When the water vehicle evaporates, no VOC's are emitted. Minimizing solid ink coverage and the numbers of colors you use is also a simple and effective way to reduce environmental impacts.

Recycled Paper
As of April 15th all ExpoDisplays business cards will be printed on 100% recycled paper. |

Aluminum Recycling
ExpoDisplays has been recycling all scrap aluminum for many years. If you would like to return a product to ExpoDisplays for recycling, please contact Beth Stringer to find out which parts may be recycled. |

Eco-fi Fabrics

ExpoDisplays - Green Committee
ExpoDisplays has also formed a Green Committee. This group of six employees will identify, advance, and promote strategies, policies and procedures within ExpoDisplays operations aimed at minimizing negative environmental impact and maximizing benefits to the environment. |
